Linen Closets

A linen closet doesn't have to mean a stack of fixed shelves that never fit the towels. Smart design turns a hallway or bathroom closet into organized storage with a thoughtful mix of adjustable shelving, built-in drawers and hooks.

Can you do this in my room?

We plan linen closets around what you actually store, sizing shelf spacing and pull-outs to those items rather than to a standard. Most include adjustable shelving throughout, and you approve 2D and 3D drawings first.

Nothing is manufactured until you have seen it drawn. You approve the layout, the finishes and the price first, so the only surprise is how much room you get back.

What's possible

Available Features

  • Adjustable shelving throughout
  • Built-in drawers and doors where applicable
  • Custom hooks, shoe fences and baskets
  • Lit shelving behind single or double doors

How we design linen closets

Linen closets fail for the same reason pantries do: fixed shelves spaced for one thing holding everything from bath towels to spare bedding. We size shelf bands to what actually goes in the closet, and because the shelf pins are adjustable, the layout changes as your needs do without ordering a single new part.

Door type drives the design more than anything else here. Sliding and bypass doors need the system set back far enough to clear the track, bi-folds need clearance for the hinge stack, and swing doors let us run the system full depth. Your designer measures the opening, the track and the trim on site, which is how these details get caught before manufacturing rather than on installation day.

Everything is drawn in 2D and 3D before anything is built, so you approve the exact shelf heights, drawer counts and finishes. Manufacturing happens at our Downingtown facility and our own crew installs it.

Linen Closets questions, answered

How much does a custom linen closet cost?

Linen closets are quoted per linear foot across four levels: Essential Shelving $225, Organized Linen Closet $335, Cabinet Linen Closet $449 and Premium Linen Closet $558 per foot. Drawers, roll-outs and enclosed cabinetry are the main variable, a shelving-only linen closet sits near the bottom of the range.

Do sliding or bi-fold doors limit the design?

They change it rather than limit it. Sliding and bypass doors need the system set back far enough to clear the track, bi-folds need clearance for the hinge stack, and swing doors let us run full depth. Your designer measures the opening, track and trim on site so this is settled before manufacturing.

Can the shelves be moved later?

Yes. Shelves sit on adjustable pins, so the layout can change as your needs do without ordering new parts.

Will I see the design before you build it?

Always. You approve 2D and 3D renderings showing exact shelf heights, drawer counts and finishes. Nothing goes into production at our Downingtown facility until those drawings are signed off.
