Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use this site, and to reach us easily if something gets in the way.

Our standard

We build this site in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA success criteria: keyboard access to every interactive element, visible focus indicators, descriptive alt text on meaningful images, labeled form fields, semantic landmarks and text contrast of at least 4.5:1. We have not yet completed a formal third-party conformance audit, so we describe this as our working standard rather than a certified conformance claim.

Known limitations

Some older project photography may have brief alt text, and our before-and-after comparison slider is easier to use with a pointer than with a keyboard. We are working on both. If a page blocks you, tell us and we'll provide the information another way.

Getting help

Call 610-431-3500 or write to Diplomat Closet Design, 216 Washington Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335. We'll answer questions, take your project details by phone and arrange an in-home consultation without requiring you to use the website.

How we test

Pages are checked with keyboard-only navigation, browser zoom to 200%, and automated contrast and landmark checks as part of each release. We also review the site at mobile widths, since most visitors arrive on a phone and tap targets and sticky elements behave differently there.

Alternatives to using this site

Nothing on this website is the only way to reach us. Pricing ranges, material options, project photos and consultation scheduling can all be handled over the phone, and a designer can come to your home and describe options verbally. If a printed or large-print summary of anything here would help, ask and we'll send one.

Feedback

Accessibility work is ongoing. If you encounter a barrier, please describe the page and what happened, reports are reviewed and prioritized, and we'll follow up with you directly once the issue is addressed or a workaround is available.

Begin your project

Let's start with a conversation.

A designer will visit your home, measure the space and show you what's possible, with no obligation and no sales pressure.
